Armed with a UEFA Pro License and advanced academic training in sports science and management, including several Master’s degrees & Specialization/Certifications, Estefanía López has shaped her career around high-performance methodology and individual player development.

As a player, she was an elite goalkeeper in Spain’s Primera División, representing top clubs such as Atlético de Madrid and Rayo Vallecano, and even competing in the UEFA Women’s Champions League. She now brings that top-level experience to the technical area as a coach.

Throughout her football career — both as a player and a coach — and across the clubs she represented, “Estefi” has consistently embodied a philosophy grounded in eight key values: humility, dedication, discipline, commitment, ambition, professionalism, a sense of belonging, and teamwork.

Her background in academy development informs a structured, player-centered approach. Since 2018, her commitment to high-performance environments has been reflected in the consistent application of advanced methodologies — all aimed at optimizing player development and maximizing team performance.

More recently, she has led AFE’s FutFem Sessions, coordinating a multidisciplinary coaching staff and applying elite-level resources — including video analysis and drone footage — to support free-agent players in returning to professional football.
