ABOUT ME
Estefanía López is a former professional footballer (2001–2012) with nine years of elite experience in Liga F, Spain’s First Division. During her playing career, she achieved significant milestones: two league titles (2010 and 2011), runner-up in the Copa de la Reina (2010), and three consecutive appearances in the UEFA Women’s Champions League, reaching the Round of 16 each time (2009–2012).
After retiring, she transitioned into a successful coaching career. With over 15 years of experience in academy development across both men’s and women’s football, she has worked through all phases — Foundation Phase (FP), Youth Development Phase (YDP), and Professional Development Phase (PDP) — primarily as Head Coach, with a strong focus on individual development and enhancing team performance across all phases of play. She also served for several years as Academy Director, taking on broader responsibilities in supervision, strategic planning, management, methodology, performance analysis, scouting, talent identification (TID), and recruitment
Since 2018, she has led teams as Head Coach in elite women’s football, managing clubs such as AD Alcorcón, Atlético de Madrid, and Deportivo Alaves, , and more recently, she has led the latest training programs within the Spanish Professional Football Association for free-agent professional players, coordinating a multidisciplinary coaching staff and implementing elite-level resources and methodologies.
Estefanía holds a UEFA PRO License and a robust academic background, both nationally and internationally, including:

- An MBA in Sports Management
- A Master’s in Sport Psychology
- A Master’s in Performance Football Tactical Analysis
