The Spanish Professional Footballers’ Association (AFE) has announced that Estefanía López will be the head coach for the second edition of the AFE FutFem Sessions, a pre-season training program for free-agent female players. The event will take place in August 2025, in Los Ángeles de San Rafael (Segovia).

These Professional Training Programs are designed for Women’s professional players who are currently without a team, with the goal of enhancing their performance across key areas:

technical skill development, tactical understanding, physical conditioning, and psychological/mental resilience.

The programs are built on core principles of holistic development and a personalized approach, aimed at preparing players to secure contracts with new professional clubs and continue their careers at the national or international level.

A feature by sport newspaper AS at the close of the event highlighted the quality of the coaching staff and the use of tactical analysis tools, including drones, pointing out López’s leadership as a key element of the program’s success.
